Per Ordinance 3.41.035 (d)

"No certificate shall be issued to any individual to install security systems who is not certified by the Kansas Electronic Security Alliance, Electronic Security Association, or other national testing agency with a test designed specifically for alarms."

Per Topeka Municipal Code 5.15.030 (a)

"Persons engaged in altering, installing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, moving, or servicing alarm systems as a condition of obtaining a license shall be certified by the Electronic Security Association, or any other nationally recognized testing or certification organization for the particular classification of the system involved."
